GenV Schools Challenge
As the national vaccination rollout moved from healthcare workers to the broader general public in different phases, #GenerationVaccination is the rise of dynamic youth and committed citizens that are working towards a healthier, COVID-19 free generation. We are spreading honest and safe conversations about COVID-19 & the vaccine, where people can chat openly, freely and get reliable information about the vaccine. We are all about helping our loved one’s register to get vaccinated and to vaccinate when it’s our time. And finally, vaccinated or not; remember to mask up, sanitise, keep the physical distance rules; and stay away from crowded places.
How the Gen V Schools Challenge works
As part of the campaign, we are running a 2-week competition with 10 schools across South Africa to inspire vaccine readiness in young people. 10 schools were required to creatively come up with a war cry, dance routine or any form of relatable awareness messaging that positively encourages their peers (other learners and young people) to be eager and ready for vaccination when the time comes.
Our chosen schools for the competition had ultimate creative freedom and outside of the box thinking was encouraged. It is now time for all of us to vote for the best school! We want you, the Public, to vote for the school you think is the best by following these easy steps:
How to vote:
- Watch, comment, like and share your favourite videos. The video with the most engagements wins!
- You can engage on as many social media platforms as you like.
- Voting starts on 17th July 2021 and closes at 23:00 on the 31st of July 2021.
The school that is voted as having the best video through comments, likes and shares will win a GRAND Prize of R10 000,00 to go towards their school!
How we can all win!
