I was messing around with a guy and not using condoms and then one day my period didn’t come. I let it slide for a week but I told him that I think this may be a thing (coupled with the fact that I had a dream I was pregnant and “my people” told me it was a boy that I was given but that’s a story for another day). A week later I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!

I proceed to call Marie Stopes to book an appointment, but the guy booked one for me as well. 3 days later we went and I was 5 weeks and a day pregnant. I took the pills and that was that. I’m glad I had the opportunity to do so and choose my way forward. I bid the little one goodbye the days leading up to it. I’m good. It’s bitter sweet but I’m okay.
