Story 9

I had my TOP [termination of pregnancy] back in 2004. I was 20 years old and in university, so I made the decision to terminate with ease. I felt guilty for a long time, because of religious reasons. Only after assessing my true reasons of termination did I relinquish myself from the self-imposed prison.

I went to Marie Stopes clinic next to Bara Hospital and the providers where very professional. I have a very low threshold for pain so that experience was excruciatingly painful. I’m too scared to fall pregnant again because of the pain I experienced.
